My name is Niña Sandejas. I am duly educated in fashion, but I'd rather take photos of musicians and go to concerts for a living.

How do I decide between shooting a B&W vs colored photo? It’s pretty simple. I know most people just say that if you convert any photo to black and white they’ll automatically look nice. I actually disagree. Some photos lose their story when converted to black and white while some photos lack the focus when you maintain the color.

It’s all about what you need to say in a photograph.

These are a set of black and white photos from the recent All Time Low gig. I decided to keep them for myself because I like them and because oftentimes publications prefer colored photos.

Kim Marvilla’s article / interview with the band and a review of their concert is up on http://digradio.ph with that band profile photo I took and some interview & concert photos by Sundae Cruz.
